mwegSpata (mwewin greco Σπάταmwfa?; in mwfqalbanese arvanitica: mwfgShpat) è un ex comune della mwfwGrecia nella mwgaperiferia dell'Attica (mwgqunità periferica dell'mwggAttica Orientale) con mwgw10 419 abitanti secondo i dati del censimento mwha2001.cite-ref-1[1]

È stato soppresso a seguito della riforma amministrativa, detta mwigProgramma Callicrate, in vigore dal gennaio mwiw2011cite-ref-2[2] ed è ora compreso nel comune di mwkaSpata-Artemida.

A Spata ha sede l'mwkgaeroporto internazionale di Atene e il mwkwGiardino zoologico Attica. Spata appartiene alla storica comunità mwlaalbanese della Grecia, dove albanese (per i grecofoni l'mwlqarvanitas) viene ancora parlato.
